Maybe we should elect Wal-Mart to fix the U.S. economy. Let me build my case...
Walmart’s Record:
The first true Walmart opened on July 2nd, 1962, in Rogers, Arkansas.
Americans spend $36,000,000 at Walmart Every hour of every day.
This works out to $20,928 profit every minute.
Walmart will sell more from January 1st to St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.
Walmart is bigger than Home Depot, Kroger, Target, Sears, Costco, and K-Mart combined.
Walmart employs 1.6 million people and is the world’s largest private employer.
Wal-Mart is now the largest company in the history of the world.
Walmart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and they did this in only fifteen years. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.
Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.
Walmart has approx. 3,900 stores in the USA, of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than five years ago.
This year, 7.2 billion purchases will occur at Walmart stores. (The world’s population is approximately 6.5 billion.)
90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.
The United States Government’s Record:
The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. It has had 246 years to get it right, and it is broken. Stamps were a nickel when I was in high school. Now they are 60 cents.
Social Security was established in 1935. They’ve had 86 years to get it right and are headed toward insolvency.
Fannie Mae (home loans) was established in 1938. It has had 71 years to get it right and is going broke.
The War on Poverty started in 1964. It has had 57 years to get it right; it never went anywhere, and It stole from our Social Security Fund. $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor,” and It wants more! Now there are more poor and homeless than ever.
Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. It’s had 56 years to get it right, and they are going broke.
Freddie Mac (gov’t secondary mortgage market) was established in 1970. It has had 51 years to get it right, and it is not working.
The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion annually, and we import more oil than ever. It had 44 years to get it right, and it is an abysmal failure. Currently, gasoline is at a record high in many states, and we are begging other countries for oil after foolishly shutting down the Keystone Pipeline. We are selling our strategic oil reserves to China.
As of September 2022, inflation is the highest it’s been in 40 years, with no sign of relief.
We have a President with 36 years of experience as a U.S. senator and 8 years as Vice President who promised to “Build Back Better,” but things are getting progressively worse.
Over the years, we have provided an obscene amount of foreign aid to countries that are our enemies.
We waste billions on fake climate change while letting massive offenders like China and India continue to pollute.
In the last two years, The U.S. Government has sent billions of dollars to Ukraine and other countries to help protect their borders and not a dime on protecting ours. We are actually paying for other countries to build border walls.
Our feckless Feds spent $131.8 Million on technology so Illegals could “self-report” to their immigration hearings.
Many retired seniors are living on fixed incomes; we have homeless citizens without shelter, failing schools, the elderly going without needed medications, and mentally ill citizens without treatment. Fentanyl (enough to kill millions), sex trafficking, potential terrorists, disease, and gangs are openly pouring across our southern border.
The U.S. Government IS NOT caring for its citizens... while illegals get free phones, get put up in hotels, are fed, receive health care, and sometimes cash and access to needles and drugs.
Sad, isn’t it?
Elections are coming up on November 8th for the Senate, the House of Representatives, and especially school boards. Please consider not who you vote for but what you are voting for. I urge you to vote in person and not by mail so your ballot will be less likely dumped in a ditch somewhere. Also, resist voting early as it allows potential cheaters to evaluate how much they may need to “adjust” early vote totals to win.
As for me, I just might be tempted to vote for Walmart...
C..A. you are right... many of the problems our country has are because we have turned away from the things of God!
It seems like Walmart has the answer, but no one does but God, but we ignore what He says. So, He let everyone run their course just to prove that without Him all fail. Love you brother, keep up the good work.
