The gender reassignment business in America is booming...

A report from Global Market Insights in January 2023 estimated that the gender reassignment surgery market is projected to increase from $623 million in 2022 to almost $2 billion annually in the next few years. In 2020, Forbes magazine estimated that gender reassignment surgery and transgender-enabling drugs could be worth more than $200 billion over the next two decades.

To put these numbers in perspective, multinational hamburger chain Burger King’s entire annual revenue is only $1.9 billion.

In 2007 there was only one gender clinic in America. Today, there are over three hundred. Fueled by the lure of massive profits, doctors, psychologists, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies are getting into the business of sacrificing the bodies and spirits of children on the altar of corporate greed.

But they are not alone...

According to an investigative report released this week, CommonSpirit Health, the largest Catholic health system in the United States, has been promoting, funding, and performing transgender surgeries and other “gender-affirming” medical interventions, defying Biblical values. Ironically, CommonSpirit Health gets its Catholic identity from the Catholic Health Care Federation, whose authority is granted by the Vatican’s Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life in Rome. Internal Revenue Service 990 forms confirm that CommonSpirit Health benefits from religious exemption tax breaks and that the organization is a part of the Catholic Church.

Dozens of Catholic hospitals in California now openly refer patients to Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco for sex-change operations under the guise of  “gender-affirming care.” In 2020, the hospital earned an “LGBTQ Health Care Quality Leader” designation from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. According to its website, the hospital continues to pledge its commitment to the “LGBTQA+ community” to “provide crucial gender-affirming surgeries from expert surgeons to our transgender patients”.

CommonSpirit Health is not acting in isolation. This past November, the Lepanto Institute published a detailed listing of organizations promoting transgender surgeries and ideologies for children that have received funding from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development… despite their repeated claims that the CCHD “never” funds such organizations.

I ask... how in the world does this happen in the Catholic Church?

Not to be left behind, Planned Parenthood has been hard at work diversifying its offerings to include gender-affirming services. Due to laws in pro-life states that now mandate the closure of abortion clinics, Planned Parenthood has rolled out a new business plan that will more than double down on gender-affirming care.

Not surprisingly, Planned Parenthood does not provide a breakdown of transgender services per se. Instead, they are lumped into a sub-category called “Other Procedures.” The increase to date of these so-called gender-affirming activities during the past 24 months is astounding, as evidenced by the graph below.

Under the umbrella of “trans-rights” being promoted by the media, corporations, celebrities, schools, social media influencers, and others, most if not all of their victims will be permanently disfigured by gender reassignment surgery and drugs, many will suffer psychological problems and worse; some percentage will die as a result of a botched surgery. Others will attempt or commit suicide.

The corporations, hospitals, doctors, psychologists, and pharmaceutical companies involved in this must one day stand before God. They will be judged for these surgeries, genital mutilation, and suicides, among their victims.

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and suffers the loss of his soul? (Matthew 16:26)
