(1) I've done a lot of research on this topic, & of all the beings God created, animals are the only ones who stay innocent from birth & cannot choose between Heaven & Hell. Not once is there a mention of judgement of animals in the Bible--but there is of humans, & of the accuser and his minions. (2) In addition, in my research on people who go to Heaven in Near Death Experiences (NDEs), those who have a special connection with their animals, are met in Heaven by all the animals they loved throughout their lives. (3) Last, there are references in the Word to God loving humans & animals equally: Psalm 36:6B - "You care for people and animals alike, O LORD." And in Matthew 10:29 - "... not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it." I believe God catches its spirit because He cares for His animals/creation in their moment of death, just like he cares for us.
I totally disagree. Animals do indeed go to Heaven, because they do have a soul. How else do you think they feel, sense and havevtheir being? They think, they feel all emotions but malice and hatred. The difference is that humans have a spirit. That is, they are a spirit, have a soul and live in a body. There are two places after death, and animals do not go to one of them.
