How “Woke” Disney is Working to Destroy America

Sadly, it is no longer the same company that our parents once trusted to be an all-American, kid-friendly source of TV and movies that it once was. Disney has become a woke, globalist, anti-child, anti-family, pro-LGBTQ, and anti-American company.

Disney’s Anti-Child Agenda

In the Disney movie Frozen, the character of Elsa sang, “there’s no right, no wrong, no rules for me. I’m free.” That’s how she finds her so-called freedom. This is a subtle and disturbing message aimed at young kids… that there’s no right or wrong, and ignoring that fact is supposed to be the definition of freedom. Instead, it is an entitlement mentality that will lead to a life filled with difficulty and trouble.

Disney’s TV series Loki is about a bisexual and gender-fluid superhero based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. In the Loki storyline, the primary love interest for Magnus is the gender-fluid child of Loki named Alex, who was born as a boy but appears as both male and female at different points in the series. What is particularly disturbing is that Loki isn’t his father, but his mother in the series.

How confusing must that be for young children?

Disney’s newest animated movie targets young children. Turning Red is about Meilin “Mei” Lee, a 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian girl torn between obeying her mother and doing whatever she wants. Mei’s ancestors supposedly share a mystical connection with the red panda species, and one morning Mei discovers what this truly means when she wakes up from a nightmare to find that she has transformed into a giant red panda. (Think China).

The movie portrays parents as authoritarian baddies from whom children need to be liberated. It is an anti-parent film that tells kids rebellion is good and that at thirteen, you’re an adult, and you can do whatever you want, whenever you want.

At one point in the movie, Mei Lee scolds her mother, saying she likes boys, music, and twerking, saying, “so deal with it”. The girl then starts twerking in front of mother and slapping her butt, answering back, “take this, mom, take this!”

When Mei Lee decides to turn into a red panda in public one day, and her mother asks her to stop...  she says, “my panda, my choice”. (Sound familiar in a Planned Parenthood kind of way?)

Rebellion against parents amounts to rebellion against God’s fourth commandment.

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” (Exodus 20:12 NKJV)

Turning Red encourages rebellion and teaches that children can be rewarded for disobedience.

Why are they doing this? Could it be Disney is “grooming” innocent young children for future entry into a life of inappropriate sexuality, abortion, and decades of regret by normalizing such self-destructive behaviors?

Even more disturbing is that Disney works with child psychologists and other experts who study children’s culture to develop marketing methods that are more camouflaged, seductive, and enticing. Disney claims this kind of intensive research pays off in increased revenues and reinforces the Disney motto: “To be a successful company, you have to start with the kids themselves.”

Disney’s Florida and Texas Cave to the LGBTQ Agenda

Under pressure from LGBTQ activists, Disney publicly opposes Florida's new parental rights legislation that outlaws the teaching of sexuality and transgenderism to kids in kindergarten through third grade. Disney also announced they would be donating $5 million to LGTBQ groups. The once child and family-friendly company is now on record against parental rights in education.

Disney has also come out against a Texas bill that would criminalize parents as child abusers for “administering or supplying or consenting to or assisting in the administering or supplying of puberty suppression prescription drug or cross-sex hormone to a child, other than a legitimate intersex child”. This is about as anti-child behavior as one can think of. At the early stages of childhood development, very young children cannot consent to something they don’t understand.

Who in their right mind would be for the sick sexual mutilation of children? Disney?

Disney’s Pro-China Policies

In a display of self-righteous virtue signaling, Disney recently announced that it would halt Disney Cruise Line activities, National Geographic magazine tours, and releasing movies in Russia because of the war in Ukraine. At the same time, Disney continues to do business as usual in China despite Beijing’s continued genocide of minorities in Xinjiang and Tibet and its enslavement of the Uyghur Muslims.

Why? Could it be that Russia’s population is just 145.5 million, and the current population of China is nearly one and a half billion... about ten times that of Russia? Could the company want to continue operating its theme park in Hong Kong and its $5.5 billion theme park in Shanghai? Might it be that they are reluctant to remove its movies in Chinese theaters or delay the launch of the Disney Channel in China?

Chinese markets are big business for Disney. Are they lining their pockets while in a cozy relationship with the anti-American Communist Party of China as they ignore blatant human rights abuses? Because that’s what they seem to be doing, and to hell with America, the country that gave them their start.

March 23, 2002 UPDATE: Virtue Signaling at its Worst

The Daily Wire reported Disney's Chief Human Resources Officer, Paul Richardson, announced the company is planning to "take action" against Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott's order to the state's Department of Family and Protective Services to investigate those performing some sex-change surgeries or puberty-blocking efforts on children.

“Because of our presence in Texas,” Richardson reportedly said, “we want you to know that we've signed on to the Human Rights Campaign's letter opposing the Texas bill that criminalizes parents who provide for their transgender children gender-affirming care.”

Note to Disney: Don't Mess with Texas!
