While the LGBTQ crowd is prancing pridefully in the streets this month, I suspect that many of them likely have no clue that this month marks another far more important event… the 80th anniversary of the June 6, 1944, attack on German troop positions in France. D-Day, as it was called, was the largest military assault in history. Countless books and movies have been based on that world-altering event that led to the eventual defeat of NAZI Germany less than a year later.
So, why would any of that be important to LGBTQ PRIDE advocates?
Beginning in 1933, Hitler’s Nazi regime set out to eliminate all homosexuality in Germany. Those arrested were either presumed guilty or tortured to elicit a confession. Before Germany’s defeat, over 50,000 homosexuals were sentenced to prison or sent to concentration camps. Others were summarily executed on the spot.
No one deserves that…
The June 1944 D-Day invasion has been called the beginning of the end of World War II in Europe. When American and Allied troops reached the newly abandoned concentration camps in Germany, homosexuals who survived were freed, along with Jews, Gypsies, and Christians.
But there is more to the story… The D-Day invasion was largely successful
because of the stunning deception Americans and their allies pulled off during the months before the D-Day invasion. Known as the Fortitude Deception, it significantly shortened the war.
Some of the declassified details of the Fortitude Plan were shared with me more than three decades after the war by my late friend Tony March, who was one of General George Patton’s drivers. I recounted his story in my book, Deceived No More.
As Tony put it, “The deception was designed to mislead the Germans about the intended location of the planned attack. Our guys used plywood, fabric, and other things to create fake tanks and aircraft. These were staged to confuse German intelligence. It made it look like we had more tanks than they did... and led them to believe that Pas-de-Calais, France was the site of the planned offensive rather than Normandy Beach.”
The deception also included fake landing crafts staged at ports in England where the Germans could see them. They even deployed inflatable Sherman tanks, which they moved to different locations under the cover of night and used rollers to simulate tire tracks. The Americans then used fake radio traffic that was meant to be intercepted by Germans.
The Allied forces went to great lengths during World War II, even enlisting the help of Lieutenant Clifton James, an Australian actor who bore a remarkable resemblance to Bernard Montgomery, to impersonate the British general. After studying Montgomery's mannerisms, James donned one of the general’s uniforms and flew to Gibraltar in May 1944, a trip intended to deceive German intelligence.
But the crowning jewel of the deceit was the use of General George Patton as a decoy. Nazi military leaders considered him the Allies’ best commander and expected he would lead any cross-channel invasion. As part of the elaborate disinformation campaign leading up to D-Day, Patton was placed in command of this phantom army to make it appear he would invade at the channel’s narrowest point, Pas de Calais.
While the Germans were focused on Pas de Calais, the actual attack happened at Normandy, France. Even weeks after D-Day, the Germans continued to amass troops at Pas de Calais, expecting that Patton would still come ashore there. The success of the first D-day landings allowed more than 325,000 troops, more than 50,000 vehicles, and some 100,000 tons of equipment to go ashore. Sadly, 4000 Allied troops lost their lives that day and many more were wounded.
But perhaps today’s Satanically influenced LBGTQ types are too narcissistic and deceived to care about that or what those on the side of good accomplished on that day… or even what the eternal consequences of their own behaviors might be. They devote not only
the whole of June to parading their perversion before children, but now LGBTQ celebrations take up fully one-third of the year. This country gives over only three days a year (Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Armed Forces Day) to honor the sacrifices (including their lives) members of our military have made to ensure the freedoms that those perverted LGBTQ advocates continue to abuse.
LBGTQ types are celebrating the WRONG things. They have elevated the celebration of their perverted sexual practices above the sacrifices of those men and women who have been killed or wounded defending this country's freedoms.
Apparently, they are oblivious to the sacrifices made to maintain our freedoms of speech, assembly, and association. Instead of celebrating their “pride”, they should be humbly thankful for what others have done for them.
Pray they turn to Christ before it is too late…
The only way out of enslavement to all forms of sin is to repent and turn back to God through His Way of Salvation via His Son Jesus Christ. Whosoever will will have a new identity as a Child of God, redeemed and restored. There is none other: This one way is all that is needed!! In this way we are freed to be guided by Him and to serve Him.
How many would, today, so die for this country? For what it has become? The Glory has departed.
