Absolutely true, the father of lies does what he does very well. My oldest daughter, whom I baptized because of her faith and confession of Jesus at age 10, is now in her early 30s and yoga is, sadly, a go-to thing for her. The enemy smoothes and grooms the paths he lays out before us so that it looks like nothing we would consider harmful. It's not by accident that so many writers of the New Testament warn us again and again, "be on guard, watch yourself, etc." There is a comprehensive blanket of spiritual blindness in this country (and the world at large for that matter). I believe it's because people do not read God's word, and if they do, they read it with a bias to affirm what they do or believe, even when their actions or beliefs are not the truth. Thanks for raising this subject, it is glossed over.

Thank you. 15 years ago, I faced off with my "pastor" over his vigorous desire to bring yoga into the church (literally into the building, as a regular sponsored "outreach" to the community). As a baby Christian, I was poorly equipped to make my case, but nonetheless sure that I had one; no one at that church was anywhere near as vigorous about getting people into a Bible study. My push-back at least gave him pause, but it was akin to trying to plug one of the Netherlands' sea dikes with a finger. That church (which the Lord graciously led me out of 12 years ago) has now formally and rather nastily expunged its faithful members, taken over the building, and now preaches worldly ear-tickles.
