THE oldest human religion is Eve-centric, submitted to Satan, with Adam capitulating, abdicating his responsibility to override her foolish decision by crushing the head of her clever beast buddy, even at the cost of his (Adam-the-husband's) life. (See Numbers 30, e.g.)
The women who seek to lead the church are suffering from the sin of coveting power, failing to have gratitude for the spiritual gifts received as daughters of a Heavenly Father. There is nothing stopping women from upholding and supporting the work of Jesus, but it is the work of men to be the leaders of the church, and protectors of women. Thank you Jim for clearly explaining this huge problem because it is an evil tool meant to destroy the foundation of the church.
Finally we have someone with the courage to speak out against this feminist rebellion
in our homes, communities and churches.
RUN, don’t walk from any woman who thinks she’s qualified to lead men.
RUN from any man who abdicates his responsibility to lead.
Sorry not sorry. The inescapable aspect of women’s nature is they invariably fail to be accountable. That’s not misogyny it’s just recognizing a rebellious spirit.
I’ll never again stand idly by as a woman in leadership systematically tears a church apart and then blames everyone else except herself.
1st Timothy 2:12 was written for a reason but the scriptural cherry pickers will create every excuse to discount it.
Women in leadership roles isn’t the problem. Plenty of women have been in such roles when pastoral husbands were being persecuted. The real issue is the LACK of men in leadership roles. They are so for many reasons, but in my humble opinion, it’s because the church has failed to teach a biblical headship or head of. Look at the relationship of the Father and the Son. That’s what men (the Father) and women (the Son). If men imaged the Father, women would willingly honor the headship of men. But men have been told they are superior to women and behave as dictators and put women as subordinates. I do not see anything biblical in this. Plus, men are of headship roles in marriages and in the church. Outside of that, I am not sure.
I see women all over the place taking the place of men in homes and churches. Who's fault is it? Any man that puts up with it. I also believe one reason for the mass exodus from the church of men is due to this phenomenon. My mother was the one who ran the home I was brought up in and I swore that I'd never marry a woman like her. And I didn't. I have the most wonderful wife that any man could ever dream for. She let's me be the MAN and she is the WOMAN. And a wonderful one at that.
I recently visited a small church in small town Fallon, Nevada (we moved here a couple of years ago and haven’t settled into a church yet), it sure seemed Spirit filled but when I brought my husband on my next visit, an elderly woman introduced herself to us AS THE PASTOR and then I knew I had been deceived as to exactly which spirit was filling that church.
I will not accept that spirit nor will that woman ever exercise spiritual authority over my husband.
It’s funny that the woman’s daughter delivered the sermon/teaching on my previous visit and was very fluent and accurate in Scripture. I thought, maybe her husband oversees her teaching and maybe he leads the Tuesday night Bible studies, but no, those women are the leaders.
Thank you, for being another man of God to call out the deception which has permeated the church system.
I was caught up in a Home Fellowship Cult, lead by a woman from Holland, who was into the Hyper-Faith movement, Manifested Sons of God and other Doctrine of Demons. I was just a two month old babe in Christ when I joined this group. It was called "His Rest Christian Fellowship" this occurred some 47 yrs ago. So this invasion has been happening for over 100 yrs.
There was a book titled "God's Word to Women" written by a Methodist woman, Katharine C. Bushnell, that was handed out to each member of this "cult" when first released, which a lovely Pentecostal elderly man who found the book back in the 70's, because it was lost and unfortunately had it re-published, and since then has spread like a 'wild Fire" which trumpeted the Jezebel spirit into present day institutional church system. That "wild Fire" was NOT the Fire of the Holy Spirit.
I need to say in her book I read some of the most outrageous accusations against Apostle Paul, where she stated she felt Paul, who was not married, must have had issues against women.
The Book is filled with a spirit of rebellion. The book was originally published back 1921.
According to Paul's Holy Spirit inspired teaching, "Eve was deceived" therefore women are easily deceived by the devil.......and let me tell you that woman who lead the Home Fellowship truly proved Paul's teachings correct!
In 1986 that Home Fellowship was raided by Police for abuses done to children and some adults as well, where she was arrested and charged along with a couple, and ended up in prison.
That poor Christian man does not realize the Hell he introduced into the world by finding an original copy of that devilish book, which he "thought" was a book that the Lord desired to be made known.
Wow 😲 yeah people have to careful if approached by an out going really charismatic individual(male or female) handing out brochures, information and literature about a new church in their area or home town! These people can be a little pushy in getting people to join their church! I've always been wary of these religious people representing any church or religion going door to door and being out in the public giving out brochures and literature on new and different churches in my local home town! This happened a lot while I was little and growing up, I kept my distance and got away from a person like this as quickly as I could when I was approached! I was raised by a single mother and my mother felt the same as me! She taught me well in that sense, use decernment and caution with people like this!
I was raised Methodist and my family attended the local Methodist church down the street from our house in our neighborhood! There was a Baptist church directory across the street from the Methodist church! I'm from the south and every town has a Baptist church on every street corner, and that's still true to this day where I'm from! I would always ask my mother what the difference was between Methodists and Baptists, she really didn't know and did her best to explain that, I still don't really know, as an adult, the differences and reasons for the different church denominations, because the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus and the gospel is always the same and never changes as is the word of God/Yahweh is always the same and never changes!
Cults, on the other hand, teaches alternative ways to Yahweh/Yeshua/God/Jesus that doesn't exactly follow scripture and I believe that many cult leaders of these movements convince people that certain things in the popular teachings of the Bible are mistranslations that have been made! This is where the slippery slope comes in at with cults because the Bible and scripture is difficult to read and understand by us modern people today! Of course the Bible has been translated from Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek into the old English language with King James first with the KJV, then later the Bible was translated into modern English that we use today! It's a slippery slope because people can misinterpret the translation of Scripture and it's true meaning and I believe that cults and cult leaders use this to their advantage to twist Scripture and teach to the masses!
So, yeah, it definitely pays to beware of any individual teaching any progressive or different interpretation of Scripture that seems radical and just feels strange because 9 times out of 10, it's a cult! 🙂
I've been using the same KJV bible given to me as a gift 47 years ago. And when the Holy Spirit is teaching one, it shall align with the Lord's Word, because the Holy Spirit is the One the Lord stated would teach us all Truth, which speaks of Him! The Holy Spirit can see through "errors" however major errors in most of the other versions are outright damning the One True Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit within us shall cause us to know or discern something is just not right with what someone writes or speaks, and when you wait long enough listening then some little "false teaching of belief, or persons "perspective" get's slipped into the teaching, and it shall perk up like a red flag!
We can thank the Lord for His Holy Spirit, and the promise He would protect us. However due to being ignorant of the Lord's ways we will believe certain teachings, and we shall stumble because of them, but thank the Lord He shall deliver us out from them, and then teach Us what His thoughts are, His ways are, and shall cause us to walk in them!
"Jen Hatmaker, who first publicly renounced Christianity in an interview with Jonathan Merritt — a gay activist and son of former Southern Baptist Convention president, James Merritt — and says she first questioned Evangelical Christianity because gay people couldn’t have sex with each other, says that Beth Moore is her “mentor.”
Jen Hatmaker, who recently filed for divorce after revealing that her daughter was a flaming lesbian after affirming homosexuality and other sexual perversions for a number of years, recently said on a podcast with Alicia Crosby that the church simply isn’t black enough, gay enough, and transgender enough for her taste."
Yeah! Divination and witchcraft right? When I was younger,in my late 20's and 30's, I was into witchcraft and Wicca as I wanted a spiritual path that resonated with me and Christianity just didn't! I had no offense to it because I was raised going to a Christian church! I still respected it but I was looking for something else! I started questioning the meaning of life and why we're here, what's the purpose to all of this and Christianity didn't answer that for me and figured that another deep spiritual practice would help me find those answers!
So I looked into witchcraft and Wicca and read many books because the internet wasn't available back then so I was on my own! I was never able to practice anything though because I needed and wanted a teacher to teach me how to practice everything from setting up an alter and casting spells in an affective way! Today it's easy to find a seasoned witch or practitioner online to teach those things! The information is out there nowadays! I eventually gave up on that and abandoned all of that! I think I've still got some old witchcraft and Wicca books packed up in boxes in my closet, I can't remember if I got rid of them when I moved the last time! I need to get rid of them, they should be burned!
I think when we have a spiritual awakening and start waking up spiritually we want to explore these differnt spiritual beliefs! I know I did, and those questions about the meaning of life and why we're really here, I still have those questions 😁 I think we all do because we've never been told the full truth about anything happening on this planet! But we're all made in the image of God/Yahweh/infinite Creator and we come from Him!
"I had no offense to it because I was raised going to a Christian church! I still respected it but I was looking for something else! I started questioning the meaning of life and why we're here, what's the purpose to all of this and Christianity didn't answer that for me and figured that another deep spiritual practice would help me find those answers!"
In my path back to the Lord, I realized that I was looking for Christendom, not Scripture, to answer my questions ... the only TRUTH is from the Word of God ... and it's all there. I had to learn how to study Scripture, which Paul reveals in 2 Tim 2:15 (KJV): study by rightly dividing the Word. Once I understood that all of the Bible is for us, but not all of it to us, I came out of confusion in Christ to clarity in Christ! Praying for you my friend.
Jim, the above is, I think, the pastor's wife at NPC. She gives an entire sermon. Also, I have a question, I do not know if I can answer. She quotes 2 Corinthians 13:14 - I noticed that verse is in the KJV and in the NIV (which I do not like), but it is NOT in the Geneva Bible at all. Do you know why? Because I don't know. Thanks

Yes, a lack of strong male leadership!
The verse you quote from the NASB is not accurate. Genesis 1:27 in the NASB reads:
"God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
You added the part about "equal in sin and salvation".
Misquoting the Bible deceitfully is not a good thing.
Daryl, It was a leftover from another line. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. It has been corrected.
Many of today's evils can be traced directly back to a declining Biblical Worldview (even of professed Christians).
I see women all over the place taking the place of men in homes and churches. Who's fault is it? Any man that puts up with it. I’m remembering a sad story about a weak man and an easily fooled, power-hungry woman…where was that?
The Southern Baptist Convention... particularly its Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission?
I was thinking Adam and Eve, but Sampson works too! I’ll bet there’s even more if we think about it. Ahab and Jezzy.
The Garden of Eden?
I'm not sure if any still reads or listens to Jen Hatmaker but she could definitely qualify for one of your "beware" articles.
This is from https://disntr.com/2022/07/21/jen-hatmaker-says-viewing-jesus-as-a-male-makes-it-difficult-for-black-brown-and-lgbt-people-to-feel-safe-around-him

Wow! All of this is sickening ain't it! And people are falling for this moral corruption!
As a former practitioner of divination, I can attest to the 100% accuracy of this outstanding post. Thank you.

Sola Scriptura!
Have you been Born Again?
Yes I have! 🙂
Yep! John 3:3 explains it beautifully. 🙌
Amazing! A little leaven really does leaven the whole loaf!
