Off the top of my head….I’d say odds are unlikely. I think they are not compatible….and remember this:

Media tis nothing but propaganda nowadays - at least on the main swift streams of it…..

No doubt in my mind, but as a Buffalo Bills fan sick of the K-balls going “wide right” and know this: the NFL tickets say on them - tis nothing but entertainment - I am biased - but still my opinion is they are not compatible - tis just a postmodernist show of delusion disconnected from that which truly has merit such as ideas in the Bible.

We can agree on that I hope, but postmodernist seem to think - life is a show. Let me be the first to say to them direct - it ain’t, but I’ll say this as well:

Justified Retribution can be swift.

This is a great article! I have been struggling with people I know going to great lengths to see her in concert. It’s not healthy to be obsessed with another human to the extent so many are today…

My staff and I have Phil 4:8 on our hearts this week. Your Substack fits perfectly in with our reflection of Paul’s words to focus on whatever is pure, true, noble, lovely and praiseworthy.

If we call ourselves Christians, but don’t walk in the way he directs, then we have not taken the responsibility of carrying his name seriously:

"He who says, “I know him”, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But he who keeps his word, in him truly is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that says he abides in him (who claims that Jesus abides in him) ought himself also so to walk, even as he (Jesus) walked. (1John 2:4-6)

We need to walk in his commands, not in the commands of men, or we will be worshiping God in vain. (Matt 15:9)

Jim you said

"Taylor Swift claims she is a Christian. It is not my intention to judge her. God Himself will do that as He will judge all of us. Instead, what I'm talking about is any of us compromising Biblical values for the sake of being entertained for an hour or two."

While we are told not to judge, or we will be judged, Matt 71, Luke 6:37

Yet we are also told: Do not judge by appearances, but judge with righteous judgment.”

(John 7:24)

We need to discern and consider what is truth and what is error. 1Cor 6:1-5

While we can't condemn someone to not be worthy of eternal life, we are to discern that what they are doing is not Godly.

We Must All Extract Ourselves From Such Worldly Temptations Of Satan!

Matthew 13:24-30

King James Version

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Amen

Each member of the community group to which I belong at my church has chosen to fast from something during this Lent season. I'm 68, but most of this particular group is still in their 20s. As we chose to share or not to share that from which we are fasting, the overwhelming one thing that these young married and single people chose is social media. And as we share weekly in general how we're doing as encouragement to one another, they are finding so many benefits to staying off of social media. Personally, social media is a non-starter for me because I don't even like most of it. I'm proud of these brothers and sisters as they discover what God is doing in their lives through this fasting for Lent, and I'm personally encouraged in my on fast on what I've chosen. We are each making spiritual choices that allows us to be drawn closer to Jesus and away from the world.

BABYLON AMERICA is under the Judgement of God.

Taylor Swift's preeminence is a sign that we have already reached the stage where many have been given over to a reprobate mind to follow after their own lusts without restraint and to reap the consequences and results of that which will be destruction. The things T.S. represents and stands for will destroy those people who take them in, even a little bit.

The goats are being divided from the Lord's Flock.

Amen, and... I would submit that it's even simpler than analyzing the world's bacchanal for specifically and blatantly Satanic signs and machinations. (Because, sometimes, the very fixation on such endless analysis is what the enemy is hoping we will do!)

God's command is specific, and His diagnosis, even in the first century, was dire:

"Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For *ALL* that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour." (1st John 2:15-18)
