First off, I love this article. Being a musician is what keeps me thriving to live. Now that I've lost my wants n desires (bc they were killing me) n let JESUS "take the wheel" life is good. I remember as a young boy 7,8,9 my parents would go grocery shopping n I would grab my mom's hair brush put on an album the Osmunds n crank the stero n jam out. Dancing n singing on mom's furniture till they would open the door n there I was hair brush n hand belting out rockin Robin (Jackson 5) then...show was over. Music has flowed thru my veins ever since. Graduated hi school (1978) moving from Knoxville TN to coco Beach FL joined a rock n roll band legacy n it was on. Opening up for bands such as 38 special Blackfoot n playing surf festivals all over Florida. But GOD had another plan for me n I'm walking it out with HIM. So ty for this article pls post more like it

This was wonderful and the video is amazing. Oh, how the church has lost it's way in the music. It happened so gradually that many did not even see it happening.

Thank you for this excellent post; an important reminder of the significance of Biblical scripture. I still remember reading and singing Psalms at my old Catholic school. Indeed, as you say, an “essential part of walking in Christ is singing Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.” Thank you for sharing such heart-warming Christian music.
