Thanks Jim

Philippians is such a great book, you quoted 4:7-

continuing in 4:8-9 adds the further dimension in what we should be thinking about:

Finally, brethren,

whatsoever things are true,

whatsoever things are honest,

whatsoever things are just,

whatsoever things are pure,

whatsoever things are lovely,

whatsoever things are of good report;

if there be any virtue,

and if there be any praise,

think on these things.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do:

and the God of peace shall be with you.

(Php 4:8-9)

Seems like a great recipe for overcoming worry and fear.

Excellent reminder of simple truth. As a fan of Oswald Chambers, I'm reminded of his words in "My Utmost for His Highest," 'Is it not humiliating to be told that we must come to Jesus! Think of the things we will not come to Jesus Christ about. If you want to know how real you are, test yourself by these words — “Come unto Me.”'
