Thank you for revisiting the eloquence of Paul Harvey! Ecclesiastes 1:9 still rings true: “there is nothing new under the sun” (NKJV).
Last summer, Paul Harvey's original and prophetic eloquence inspired my written and spoken adaptation of his original. My mom and I in my younger years used to listen to Paul Harvey. He definitely spoke the truth. The same truth has been spoken over two millennials: the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. He has been doing that ever since the day in the Garden. Thank You for sharing this.
That was really, really creepy... and reads just like what is going on now. I've read a couple of essays in this vein - one ended with the devil saying he coud do so much damage because people didn't believe he was real. Thank you, Jim. I will share this.
You are right when you say that people don't believe the devil is real... and that includes many people who claim to be Christians! Thank you for sharing it!

In 1965 I was dead in my sin but nearly 60 years later, I am alive in Christ. Some of us are slow learners.

That always amazes me! I try to be aware in case someone isn't afraid...or afraid enough.
