Excellent analogy Jim. It's hard to imagine how much lower those who reject God can get. The recent sub implosion and deaths brought out unbelievably craven comments that show the depths of sin of so many. In the love of sin, anything can be rationalized. We are, as you say, at stage four. What so many don't realize is that God is proceeding along with His judgment also and I believe He's approaching stage four also.
Everyday wickedness increases and that is not going to change. Woke people are not woke until they except the reality that sin leads to death, but the gift of God (salvation) leads to eternal life. The bad part is that many that think they are woke are still snoring on the pews. We are in the dispensation of time of the great falling away from the truth (1 Tim. 4:1-3; 6:3-10; 2 Tim. 4:3-5). Nevertheless, those of us who know the truth, we have to live it, speak it, and not waver, for our faith will be tested even more. Keep sounding the trumpet loud and clear.
