I found this article informative and I wonder why immigration reform has been stymied for so long.

One cannot speak of immigration across the southern border without referencing American foreign policy in Latin America:

Support for the most repressive regimes; coups, subversion, and sanctions against democratically elected socialist governments; Green Berets sent to Colombia to help the government repress and murder labor union organizers, the Catholic left, and land reformers; a 70 year war against socialist Cuba; war and sanctions against Nicaragua, Bolivia, and Venezuela. Support for the murderoous landowners in El Salvador and Guatemala.

Perhaps our greatest hope is that all the working people, labor organizers, the remnants of the Catholic Left, and left wing revolutionaries will cross the border and help overthrow the repressive government of the United States.

Witnessing the awesome power of giant corporations that own virtually everything and everyone. We allowed this to happen by allowing these corporations to buy up and consolidate corporate entities until their power, wealth and reach are insurmountable. And, sadly, they and our government are working hand-in-glove with organized crime and the cartels that have basically infiltrated all institutions of government. Don't expect anyone anywhere to do anything to stop this; no one could possibly take on these monsters and survive.

Decades ago, in about 1926, Oswald Spengler published, "The Decline of the West," in which he made 2 interesting points (among many, many others). First, when comparing civilizations (and empires) to each other over time (Roman, Chinese, Greek, Inca, etc.), he identified the introduction of money to be the most critical development that would lead to the downfall of each civilization. Secondly, and this I found to be prescient (though not wholly accurate), he predicted that circumstances in the West would lead to an accelerating decline starting in the year 2000. In many ways, his prediction tracks with our recent history, especially on the side of big finance; i.e., the dot-com bubble bursting in 1999-2000, the 9/11 false flag (that led to severe curtailment of individual rights, the financial crash of 2008-2009, and now the inevitable downfall of the world's financial system that is imminent. Sadly, if we ascribe to the accuracy of his analysis, the downfall of the West is, as was with other ancient civilizations and empires, inevitable. The best we can do is weather the destruction as best we can and hope to create a different, better culture and civilization out of the ashes (if we survive).

Great report and explains why we do not hear the truth about the border.

Very good exposé Jim, thank you - it has to be reported however painful it is to read. Evil is all around and money goes to the root of it - but what does it behove these greedy corporations and their 'enslaved' investors? Yes, these pathetic and weak C-suits fail to appreciate that they are indeed imprisoned by their Bankster masters on a hamster wheel going nowhere. I pray for their empty souls for they know not what they do but they should know that when the End Times come, they will be judged.

"Nations can succumb to pride and a wrong view of wealth—and so can individuals. Jesus gave a parable that showed how subtle this snare can be. He spoke of a rich man whose fields produced very well. Delighted, the man planned to build larger storehouses for his produce and happily looked forward to a long life of comfort. But this did not happen. God said to him: “Unreasonable one, this night they are demanding your soul from you. Who, then, is to have the things you stored up?” Yes, the man died, and his wealth availed him nothing.— (Luke 12:16-20)

Shocking story. I read a lot of media and have spent time in AZ border area, so I thought I knew a lot about the migrants. But this was news to me.

"Supporters of these policies are not all Democrats but also include several Republicans as well."

That has always been the problem with the US having rational border/immigration policy. Our UniParty rulers want more cheap labor. And they don't care who it hurts.

Wow! That was informative! Sad to say, these are the lucky ones. They could be in the sex trade or worse. Victims of Satanism that is going on underground all across the country.

Very good and very perceptive. With your permission I am going to a link in a post currently being written. It is necessary to understand all this going forward. Especially in hopes of avoiding an international civil war. Education and understanding are key.

Thank you for addressing this. This topic has been one of my pet peeves for years. It became clear years back when figuring out that the Chamber of Commerce was supporting this. A deeper dig exposed the Catholic Church, the Uniparty in DC, and many so called compassionate liberals.

This is being foisted on us as being humanitarian, when the exact opposite is true.
