On July 11 2024, the Red Pope announced that individualism, not socialism or other forms of government collectivism, is the world's problem.

"Our world’s problem... is selfishness, consumerism and individualism."

Good point... This Marxist Pope completely misses the fact the world's problems are due to the fact that the world at large openly rejects Christ.

Expand full comment

Does the fact that a pope can be so at odds with scripture undermine, in your opinion, the idea that the pope is directly representing God?

Expand full comment

The Pope only THINKS he is directly representing God. He is sadly mistaken as is anyone who follows him. Christ is the head of the church... we do not need an intermediary or someone like a Pope making it up as he goes.

If the Pope thinks what you think he thinks, then I can't make sense out of his entire personal history, present actions or where he's heading. Is he the beast's animal trainer for the harlot who comes riding in? He looks more like that guy than God's representative. Just saying.

Let me reframe the question. Do you think recent events will have any sway on the general Catholic populace and cause them to question the validity of the See?

I doubt it...

In street preaching I’ve run into lots of bitter ex-catholics that looked into the history of the organization and were repulsed. But very rarely is someone like that open to the gospel unfortunately. It’s almost as if exposure to a counterfeit gospel inoculates them against the real thing.

Well said: "It’s almost as if exposure to a counterfeit gospel inoculates them against the real thing."

Thanks.

I probably stole that from someone much smarter.

If this cardinal becomes pope we can expect much of the same under Pope Francis? Open borders of flooding the countries with immigrants. Note: Archbishop Vigiano was very critical of Pope Francis's endorsement of the Covid-19 vaccines.

As well as we all should!

Great post Jim. Not surprised. The end times will need a False Prophet who is woke and a globalist. The Red Pope fits the bill perfectly.

It will be soon...

Great post Jim,

I had not heard of the Red Pope

and I am very sad to hear that Vigano has been excommunicated,

but it was only a matter of time. I hope he is able to have a rest and get back into the good fight, and drop some of the Catholic nonsense he still held to, like worshiping Mary etc.

I also have a bone to pick, as I disagree with your statement, perhaps it was typo as it doesn't actually make sense:

You said: "Of course, practicing homosexuals should be welcomed… but as sinners who need Christ and not in acceptance of an unrepentant lifestyle."

You can not be a "practicing homosexual" who is repentant as you would not be practicing it. A repentant person who thinks he is homosexual is a very confused person and needs to see that God made them male and female anything else is an abomination.

So no we should not welcome "practicing homosexuals" but repentant sinners who have turned away from this perversion.

Christ welcomed sinners who had first repented and turned to him. Yes we all still sin but we should not be practicing sin.

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,

(Act 17:30)

Thanks Jim, it is easy to miss things like that!

Great research Jim. You have a better background on this matter than most Catholics who should. My wife was watching an interview concerning Francis where they were outraged that HE ACTUALLY ALLOWED IDOL WORSHIP IN THE VATICAN AND EVEN PARTICIPATED! A "god" from the Amazon was brought in.

Thanks David... I was a Catholic growing up and my younger sister became a Carmelite nun... I left decades ago.

My brother and I were altar boys. My mom considered becoming a nun and withdrew. (Fortunate for my brothers and me.) I and my wife have many problems with where the Catholic Church has gone.

"Tagle isn’t as much a religious leader as he is a political leader." In other words, he is simply carrying on in the ancient tradition of the history of the Catholic church. Men like him are a horrible commentary on the church at large, and his actions are completely satanic.

I am afraid you are right...

Good background, Jim. Most people don't know the inner workings of the Catholic church. I have never liked Frankie, and this proves that he is once again against the true precepts of Christianity, more anti-Christ behavior, especially when you get rid of someone who questions your doctrines. If we are going to look at the fulfillment of prophecy, hopefully we aren't overlooking this. See Revelation 14:8....

It's not new. Where have you been? It's been going on for a long time. Rev 14:8.

Thanks Walt, can't keep up with all the perversions in the world, I don't think I actually want to either!!

I hear ya. I have a retired RN friend and she says these gays exhibit whats called histrionic behavior. It's a psychiatric condition characterized by a consistent pattern of pervasive attention-seeking behaviors and exaggerated emotional displays. The condition is usually life-long and treatment-resistant, with onset typically in late adolescence or early adulthood.

Boiled down to in your face all the time. Shame is so repressed and deep seated, nothing can reach them.

Yes, I am sure there were lots of rational psychiatric conditions well taught and understood prior to the change in the DSM in 1972, when they decided that queers are not mentally deranged.

Sound good? You can know for sure the masses gobble it up. If you disagree, they'll say "What's wrong with you?

Sadly, the masses have very little if any Biblical discernment. I'll be posting on that next Saturday.

The history of the Papacy would not be complete without acknowledging the 600-year Inquisition, Galileo and Giordano Bruno (who was burned alive for believing that stars were distant suns). It has always been a place of intrigue, politics, pagan rituals, and evil.

An interesting post. I've heard of the White Pope (Francis) and the Black Pope (Jesuit Superior General), but not the Red Pope.

I don't believe the Roman Catholic Church is the fulfillment of the harlot, the Antichrist and False Prophet, etc., but for anyone who wants to investigate this possibility, https://revelationtimelinedecoded.com is a good resource for this end-time perspective.

I take it you’re not Pre Trib

Expand full comment

I am definitely pre-trib... it is the only Biblically defensible position there is. It is the view most in keeping with God’s character and His desire to deliver the righteous from the judgment of the world. Biblical examples of this include Noah, who was delivered from the worldwide flood; Lot, who was delivered from Sodom; and Rahab, who was delivered from Jericho.
