“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil… God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” – Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945)
According to a Lifeway report released earlier this week, 80% of Protestants “believe a pastor must address current issues to be doing their job,” while 16% don't, and 4% are unsure.
Sadly, too many American pastors speak about them rarely or never at all...
Here is a list of some of the things these pastors (read “hirelings”) are not telling their congregants about what it means to vote for or fail to vote against the current Democrat candidate for president…
Kamala Harris has:
Demanded that California pregnancy centers promote abortion.
Refused to defend laws upholding Biblical marriage between one man and one woman.
Fought to overturn abortion safety standards for women, and twice voted to force taxpayers to fund abortion.
Pledged to impose unlimited abortion… including late-term abortion in every state.
Sponsored the Equality Act to end religious freedom in America.
Promoted legal prostitution.
Opposed homeschooling and popular school choice legislation.
Introduced the Do No Harm Act to gut religious liberty and persecute Christians.
Participated in the most anti-Christian administration in American history.
Wants to force Christians to fund abortions.
Wants no religious exemptions for abortion in federal law.
Rewrote Title IX to force schools to use preferred pronouns, hide gender identities from parents and elevate transgenderism above women’s rights
Sued pro-life states to overturn protections for the unborn.
Exhibited anti-Catholic prejudice during the confirmation hearings of Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court.
Allowed neighborhood drugstores to dispense the abortion pill.
Supports a radical “trans” agenda, including taxpayer funding of surgeries.
Lobbied to expose students to pornographic books.
Funded Planned Parenthood through Title X dollars.
Thankfully, some among us have spoken out…
The Catholic Vote wrote in a recent X post, “Kamala Harris admits she would deny religious exemptions for abortions… forcing Christians to kill unborn children and seemingly doubling down on weaponizing the government to jail pro-lifers who pray outside abortion facilities… Why would any Christian vote for her?”
Last Sunday, California Pastor Jack Hibbs said from the pulpit, “Underlining the responsibility of Christians to vote… When Christians fail to vote, we reject the reality of truth. When Christians fail to vote, we abandon our calling. When Christians fail to vote, we neglect our ministry.”
In an open letter addressed to Catholics in America, Carlo Maria Viganò, the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, suggested that “voting for Kamala Harris… is morally inadmissible and constitutes a very grave sin,” He added, “That to abstain from voting would not be morally possible, since in this war declaring oneself neutral means allying oneself with the enemy.”
Viganò could not have said it better…
Pastor Gary Hamrick of Leesburg, Virginia sums it up this way, “Let me tell you what happens when we are not involved in the political process. We open the door for every evil ideology to fill the vacuum. When we decide we’re going to check out, we’re not going to be involved, we’re not going to be politically engaged, all we do is open the door for more of the same evil agenda and ideology.”
The writer of Hebrews gave us this sobering reminder:
“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27 NKJV)
It’s not about liking or disliking either candidate. It is not about being “too political”. It is about calling out sin for what it is; far too many “pastors” are not doing it.
Forget about the fact Donald Trump is a flawed human being and not perfect on every issue.
Get over it and vote against the Democrats…

At my church, our pastor or other staff member sends out a weekly email about what to expect on Sunday. In this past Friday's message, here is what we know he will be doing:
"[Our church] does not endorse candidates or parties. This is not our aim or focus. We will discuss the election because we want to equip our church to apply biblical truth to the influential political world."
And further into the email, this: "...we exercise our vote according to God’s priorities. His priorities make the vote simple, not overwhelming. When our hope is in God’s kingdom, and we embrace God’s priorities, we will rest on election night as we await the results, knowing these results will not change or slow down God’s trustworthy plans for our world, church, families, and friendships."
It's what we all expect, and he will deliver as the trustworthy man of God that he is.
This is a spiritual battle. And if one does not hear from God what to do to go through this, one will be at a lost. This is going to happen; Jesus already warned us so we could be prepared spiritually and naturally. No president can change what is going to take place that has been ordained to take place because of evil hearts. The Church has got to be bold and stand up for righteousness no atter what happens. The hearts of men and women has to change, and it begins with the church first. We have to be the light and not talk about being the light. Persecution is going to happen; it happened to Jesus, and it is going to happen to us. No getting around it. So, we better make sure that our spiritual armor is on 24/7. The Church is to put their trust in God, for the government is on His shoulder. Therefore, He uses it anyway He pleases to usher us into the places and positions we need to be in and to show us where our faith really is, in Him or man. Love you and keep sounding the trumpet; it prepares us for battle.
