Regarding the financing of Hamas, “in February 2020, [Former Mossad chief Yossi ] Cohen reportedly visited Qatar in order to convince Doha not to halt its funding to Hamas.”
This declaration, according to Britannica, “was made in a letter from Arthur James Balfour, the British foreign secretary, to Lionel Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild (of Tring), a leader of the Anglo-Jewish community.”
