(4 Min) PODCAST: Darned Right I’m Changing My Mind About Boycotts

Maybe it’s time you should too...

TRANSCRIPT:

Those of you who regularly read my posts understand that in the past I have been against the idea of organizing boycotts of companies that make pro-gay or anti-American decisions or hold opinions, political, moral, or otherwise that are in conflict with what we believe as Bible-believing Americans.

My position has been that boycotts almost always hurt only frontline employees who are laid off due to reduced business.... while top executives continue to prosper. And as Christians… our response should not be to hurt people we disagree with but to pray for them.

But things are changing... it’s time to protect innocent children.

What is happening is no longer about a difference of opinion. Certainly, Bud Light, NASCAR, Chick-fil-A, and ESPN have recently made some idiotic decisions, but that is not what we’re talking about here. Corporations like Target are actively selling items that are clearly designed to introduce children to the concepts of gender fluidity and early sexualization intended to groom them for future pedophiliac activity. In God’s Word, that is going way too far...

It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. (Luke 17-2)

Now we have a situation where doing business with a company like Target amounts to implied approval of what they are doing and financing their child-endangering activities. Boycotting Target and others like them are no longer about differences of opinion... it’s about acting to protect innocent children. I cannot and will not shop at Target again until they reverse their course of action. (That includes Target’s continued sale of satanic-themed merchandise.) If people lose their jobs because of it... so be it... they should seriously consider working somewhere else anyway…

And don’t be fooled... when Target announced they were removing these items from their stores, the truth is they have only hidden them in a back corner or are offering them only online.

Promoting “LGBTQ2+ Pride” in any shape, way, or form is not a loving act toward those in the LGBTQ2+ camp. It enables them to continue in their behaviors known to be riddled with drug addiction, suicide, violence, and depression. At the same time, not doing anything or continuing to shop at Target amounts to indifference... that some say is worse than hatred and the total opposite of love.

I refuse to have this garbage shoved in my face. The only pride flag I’ll fly this June is that of my country. Pity and pray for the woke activists who want to change that.
