I agree, unfortunately you cannot truly be a Democrat and a Christian at the same time. You can identify as both, but that does not make you one. I have found people at a loss to articulate exactly what it is that they believe and why.

The fall of the democrats as Christian’s came when they convinced most of their supporters that abortion is not about murdering a human being but about “ women s health” . Once that thought found fertile ground in dem s minds there is no untruth that they will believe.

Most who profess Christianity generally do not like to mix religion & politics.

Often hiding behind the guise of calling themselves Christian.

Yet, being a Christian is indeed political. Or so it was in the 1st century, as the N.T. shows us.

It’s impossible to argue against Jim’s 10 valid points.

Probably if you only practice the 2nd, horizontal, Greatest Commandment, only proclaiming that 2nd one…silent on the 1st & Greatest.

I rather use the words follower of Christ. Christian is used very loosely just like the word love. Believers of Christ follow Jesus and when they mess up, they repent quickly and keep striving towards the mark of our high calling. Being what is called a Christian has nothing to do with politics. There are corruptions on all sides. God sees the heart of everyone including mine. I just thank God that He is in control of my life and not me. Every day one decides whether they will do right or wrong according to whatever the day brings. This world is getting crazier by the minute because we are closer to the end. It doesn't matter to me whether one is a democrat or republican, what matter is whether he or she is just and right or just downright evil. And most importantly, whether they are saved, want to be saved or whether they have a reprobate mind.

Germany has a “Christian Democrat” party. They seem more center-left than either geuinely Christian or democratic by American standards. Their current leader is named Fred Mertz. I don't know if he's married to Ethel and is Lucy and Ricky’s landlord. Probably or not.

Also Jimmy Carter allowed the Shah of Iran to be taken out and the Ayatollah Khomenei to come into power. No it’s the same party as always. Completely demonic.

We in Australia have the same problem, but the so called "opposition" is not much better- they give promises of change but do nothing, or don't change things when they do get in power.

The only solution is the Kingdom of God, which God will bring:

“Therefore wait for me,” declares the LORD, “for the day when I rise up to seize the prey.

For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.

“For at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the LORD and serve him with one accord.

(Zep 3:8-9)

Some good points here, however some of these reasons could be used against others as well besides the Democrats,

For example The Democrat party now uses violence as a means to an end. This could apply to many groups in the world today, both good and bad.

The Democrat Party seeks to divide people based on their race, which ignores the fact that God created all people equal and in His image. This one is pretty much universal to all groups, Democrats, Republican, Zionists, Islamists, whites, blacks, you name it. They all create divisiveness against their fellow mankind. This to me is the number one problem in this country and the world.

Overall, I must agree with most of your assessment, otherwise. Will be linking once again @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/
