When you are locked out of every "church" for refusing the vaccine for nearly TWO years, I wonder how tithes can be even relevant. When governments worldwide restricted entry into places of worship, the churches in my nation were the ones most obedient to that directive. Even temples of other religions, and some mosques, were willing to adopt a policy of "dont ask, don't tell". Many of them were suspicious of the plandemic and the subsequent vaccines.
But not the churches. Why? I knew from the onset that the pastors were afraid of losing the tithe money and I was right! They were urging the flock to get vaccinated and were amongst its most ardent promoters.
I personally tithe and give offerings. There have been times when I was short and did not tithe. There has also been a time when God had the pastor give me my tithe back. God does not need our money, but it takes money to do ministry. But God will (not man) have us to give to test where our hearts lie. Most people who have a problem giving either give for the wrong reasons or just do not want to give. If one is being led by the Holy Spirit and not their flesh, they will give according to their faith.
